Groups
Delegations & Immersions

We host single- and multi-day delegations and immersion experiences in Georgia and Guatemala for schools, faith communities, and groups seeking deeper understanding of immigration and displacement.
These experiences are rooted in relationships with people directly impacted by immigration systems. Participants may learn about the displacement-to-deportation pipeline, cook and share meals with immigrants, hear personal stories, and visit communities and sites shaped by both struggle and resilience.
More than educational trips, these experiences invite participants into meaningful human connection, reflection, and shared community.
Immigrant Justice Pilgrimage
Casa Alterna’s immigrant justice walking pilgrimage in downtown Atlanta is a 2.3 mile guided walk that visits places that tell the story of both harm and resilience—sites shaped by struggle, survival, and the ongoing work for dignity and freedom.

Speaking Engagements

Presentations can include storytelling, reflections from Casa Alterna’s work, immigration system realities, practical ways to engage locally, and conversations about building communities of welcome.
We are available for keynote talks, religious services, classrooms, retreats, workshops, conferences, and community events.
We offer speaking engagements for schools, faith groups, and communities who want to learn more about immigrant justice, radical hospitality, and faithful resistance.
If you are interested in bringing a group for an immersive experience or walking pilgrimage with Casa Alterna for an immersion or if you want to host a speaking engagement, please email [email protected].
