God Has Left the Building (Poem)

God has left the building
and is Graceland bound.
See, Elvis is blue and lonely
and longs to be found.

Armed with jelly doughnuts,
God's bound for Memphis.
Will God greet the King
with 6-feet 'tween 'em or with a sloppy kiss?

God has left the building
And the Church has, too.
But God has left the building
'Cuz there’s still work to do.
