Integrity

Let your word be ‘Yes, Yes’ or ‘No, No.” (Matthew 5:37a)

Integrity is not unattainable piety. Neither is integrity unfiltered truth-telling. Morality just cannot be that cut and dried.

I long for honesty with myself that grows into an acceptance of my true self. Vulnerability and grace invite me to be “naked and unashamed” before others. Community is a sacred gift. Where there is vulnerability and grace – integrity flourishes.

GO AND DO: Practice vulnerability. Extend grace. Pursue integrity.
