“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth… but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.” (Matthew 6:19-20)
For some, simplicity emphasizes outward plainness. Today, simplicity is more about living in harmony with the planet as millions of lives; countless species lie in the balance of the human-fueled climate crisis.
Today, a shift from good simplicity to global solidarity with God’s creation and our world’s most vulnerable neighbors is needed.

Hello dear Anton,
Hopefully this will find you….it is early Christmas morn…woke early here in Joyce’s basement where I have my cozy nest (shared with Donald the cat, when he allows me the privilege of sharing my bed with him! Have been here with Joyce and Gene for the past week. Being blessed with reading your blog posts, present and past…and just wanted to share gratitude : for your wisdom in/of vulnerability. It IS my “shadow” work…and your wisdom is pure gift for me. As is so much else of you and Charlotte’s lives….blessings of this holy day, and all holy days, which are all days. Love, Gratitude, Jean
